Dragon Sculpture
This is probably one of the first complete sculptures I did! It was part of my GCSE Art coursework, so I would have been about 15 or 16. Welding is shoddy and metalwork skills were fairly limited back then, but I still like the final piece.

Animatronic Elephant
The elephant was a project I did at university. I was part of the design team for a Theatre show called 'The Circus of Science'. I was initially responsible for the puppetry, which happened to be a 7 ft high robotic elephant / flying machine. The design included a fully drivable steel structure with pneumatic systems to control the elephant features such as eyes, ears and trunk. I learned a lot about mechanical systems in particular pneumatics whilst completing this project.
